Viewing Efficiency Can Be ImprovedHengThe clock face color reduces the contrast with the numerals. In the store, bright lighting was directed at the clocks displayed and gave the impression the face was white and the numbers standing out clearly.
The numerals are proportionally too large with respect to the total display area, making the presentation awkward.
The second hand is hard to pick out with a quick glance. It is the same color as the other hands and its length is nearly the same as the minute hand. I often use the clock to determine an elapsed time of 5s from a moment in time by looking up at the clock, but the time spent searching for the second hand eats up 1 to 2 seconds, forcing me to do some arithmetic to get the required duration right.

This clock is impressively light and keeps time perfectly—no drift at all. It works great as a practical timepiece. However, the digits are extremely large and packed closely together, which makes them hard to read at a glance; you often have to stare for a moment to make out the exact time. The problem is worse in dim light. An adjustable brightness or a more balanced font size would be a big improvement. I’d recommend it for wall mounting in a living room, but not for a bedside table where you need a quick, clear read.
