Built-in LED light source.
The lamp can illuminate in 7 colours: red, yellow, green, turquoise, blue, white and purple.
The built-in timer turns the lamp off after 4 hours.
The light source has a lifetime of approx. 25,000 hours. This corresponds to about 20 years if the lamp is on for 3 hours per day.
IKEA recommend LADDA rechargeable batteries.
