Metod! Good or Not?CheeI really like the IKEA Metod cabinet, but installing the doors was a nightmare. They ended up completely misaligned—one at the bottom scraped against the floor, another at the top was rubbing beneath the worktop, and one door looked visibly slanted. I tried fine-tuning the hinges, but it just wouldn’t cooperate. Total disaster!
METOD CABINETChionhIKEA'S products has always be my fave. They are simple and yet versatile. I can trust the quality of their products.
However, I recently purchased this so-known METOD series cabinet for my kitchen cabinet extension, I'm shocked to see how the quality has changed. In terms of MDF board, the chips fibre are bit as compressed as it used to be. The installation will cause further crack around the area. The screws for the hinges don't really match the slot that makes it so difficult to install. The wood has been so "soft", it dent easily. This really make self installation process very unsatisfying.
