This cover is made from Vissle fabric in polyester, which is dope-dyed. It’s a durable material with a smooth weave and a nice two-tone effect.

Safety and compliance
The cover has a lightfastness level of 6 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 55,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.

Excellent sofa coverHeokI’ve purchased the Klippan sofa about 3 years ago. Recently I found that the fabric is having stains and I’ve decided to purchase the sofa cover to replace it. I’m very glad that IKEA do supply the sofa cover, so as I need not to purchase another set of sofa as the structure remains good. One negative feedback is I’ve to travel all the way up Tampines IKEA store to make the purchase as I’m staying in the west, both Jurong and Alexandra stores do not carry the stock.
