Nice-looking but could be betterSallySleek looking kitchen scale, works as expected and sensitive enough to weigh lightweight items such as instant yeast. My biggest frustration with the scale is that it goes off after 20s, even while I am using it. Many a times it goes off when I am trying to get to the last 2 - 3g, so its very annoying that I have to wake the scale. It would be great if Ikea can tweak the programming so that it only goes off after 20s of idle mode.

Disappointed with my purchase of GenomsnittCharleneI bought this weighing machine to handle lighter weights. To my disappointment, it didn’t respond to even 10g (no reading). Even at higher weights, it was not working properly (sometime no reading).

What is glass?
Glass is mainly made of sand, soda and lime melted at a high temperature. Tempering or various additives gives you extra-strong and impact-resistant glass that in some cases can be taken straight from freezer to oven without cracking. A big benefit is how glass can be recycled over and over without the quality deteriorating. Also, a lot less energy is needed to melt recycled glass compared to new raw materials. Our goal is to eventually use only recycled glass in our range.
