Our interior designers at IKEA for Business created an inviting and inspiring café space for its customers and owner. The café also doubles as a mini shop for merchandise.
This indoor seating area is adjustable to accommodate all groups of customers. The square shape of the STENSELE table makes it easy to add and group 2 or more tables, extending the size according to different needs. The table also comes with hooks underneath for customers to hang their bags or jackets.
Complete the table with IDOLF chairs that are comfortable to sit in, thanks to the soft rounded shapes of the seat and backrest. Turn METOD kitchen cabinets into a long seating area with under-seat storage and hang some cushions for extra comfort.
Arrange your pastries in serving trays and hang LUNNOM LED bulbs above your counter area to create a welcoming atmosphere.
UDDEVALLA cabinet doors also double as a chalkboard surface for you to write your café's menu.
For some extra storage, add shelves and boxes to store aprons and towels. Hang a board to display your special menu of the day, put up photos of your café, and pin reminder notes.
Fit your METOD drawers with bamboo cutlery trays to keep your utensils organised, so you can quickly find what you need.
Provide a self-service area for customers to grab a glass of water.
Display your products and showcase your merchandise on BROR shelving units. Two FJÄLLBO shelving units can be put together to create a back-to-back shelf. This will add more open space in your coffee shop to display your coffee beans, cups, and coffee kits.
Create a small wrapping station for customers who buy your coffee beans as a present. Create a wall shelf to display coffee kits and ceramic cups to inspire customers.
Turn a little corner of your coffee shop into an outdoor seating area for your customers. Provide your customers with outdoor stools to let them enjoy fresh air in comfort and style. Decorate the area with fresh plants and blooming flowers to create a welcoming atmosphere.
