A maths tuition centre with the right design equation
Learning maths might seem difficult and feel dreadful at times. This tuition centre, specialising in mathematics, wanted to transform the typical, conventional image of tuition centres into an inspiring, comfortable place for learning.
With the help of designers from the IKEA for Business team, the centre turned out to be a conducive space for learning that appeals to young students.
Balance of style and comfort
Impress your students with a mix LÅNGFJÄLL chairs in different colours and BEKANT tables to make the classroom space interesting yet comfortable.
Style you can count on
Combine timeless, stylish PÄRUP sofa and EKERÖ armchair to create a relaxing/waiting area for students and parents. The sofa cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and machine washable. Add in SANDARED pouffes for extra fun seating options.
Add ergonomics into the equation
Don’t forget to create comfort for the teachers too. MARKUS chair gives extra back support and relief from the built-in lumbar support. The safety castors have a pressure-sensitive brake mechanism that keeps the chair in place when you stand up, and releases automatically when you sit down, perfect for teachers’ movements throughout the day.
Take a break
