Why does it say Schott Ceran or K on the glass of my hob from IKEA?
All our glass hobs, whether induction or ceramic are made with a special type of ceramic glass that is both durable and heat-resistant. The marking "Schott Ceran" or "K" (Saint-Gobain) indicates which supplier manufactured the glass. These are two of the world’s leading producers of hob glass.
