Can I find out how old my appliance is?
All IKEA appliances have a type label with a four digit number indicating the year and the week the product was manufactured. The label is located inside the appliance, except for our hobs, where it is placed underneath.
Below you can see where to find the label on each type of applience:
- Dishwasher - on the side of the door.
- Fridge - behind the vegetable drawer.
- Freezer - behind the bottom drawer.
- Fridge/freezer combination - behind the vegetable drawer in the fridge.
- Oven - inside the oven, on the right-hand side.
- Microwave/Combi microwave - inside the microwave, on the right-hand side.
- Hob - on the underside (except for FÖRDELAKTIG, wher ethe label is on the fan).
- Extractor hood - behind the grease filter on the left-hand side.
- Washing machine - inside the door.
