My clothes are damaged in the washing machine, why is that?
Damage to textiles most often occurs if what you are washing is already slightly worn. If damage occurs in the washing machine itself, it may be because items have become caught or damaged by other laundry details, such as open zips.
It is rare for garments or laundry to be damaged because of the washing machine. More often, it is a case of already worn textiles reacting to the movements of a washing program.
Protect your clothes from damage by checking that there are no defects in the laundry before running the machine. Close zips and turn garments with metal details inside out, wash certain items separately if necessary and protect delicate fabrics by washing them in a laundry bag or in a pillowcase.
