There are detergent residues left in the clothes, what is the reason for that?

The fact that there are detergent residues left in the clothes after the washing program has ended can be due to a couple of different things. Enlarge this answer to learn more and how to resolve the issue. 

Cause 1: A program with too few rinses has been selected.
Solution: Choose a program with more rinses.
Reason 2: There is too much laundry in the drum.
Solution: Wash less laundry at a time.
Reason 3: The detergent is put in the drum.
Solution: Always pour the detergent into its compartment.
Reason 4: Too much detergent has been used.
Solution: Use less detergent.
Reason 5: The compartment and detergent compartment are dirty.
Solution: Clean the compartment and detergent compartment.
Reason 6: The machine is most often used with fast programs or low temperatures.
Solution: Normally dose detergent and run a wash cycle without washing at as high a temperature as possible (90–95°C).
