I think I've received a scam text message, what should I do now?

Phishing is common, and it has happened that our customers have received fake text messages from senders claiming to be IKEA. Fake campaigns are sent out via email, text messages, and social media, and may involve alleged gift cards and vouchers. If you are unsure of who the sender is, you are more than welcome to contact us

In the fake messages, the sender often asks for sensitive information or some kind of payment in exchange for a promotional offer, which IKEA would never do. We advise you to always be cautious when opening text messages or emails asking you to provide sensitive information such as bank details and passwords. If you're unsure of who the sender is, feel free to contact us or visit IKEA's information on scam emails and fake campaigns.
