How do I activate and deactivate the child lock on my hob?
On most models, you can activate the child lock by pressing and holding the button with the lock symbol, or alternatively the pause symbol, for 3-4 seconds. A sound signal and/or a warning light above the symbol will indicate that the function has been activated. The control panel will be locked, except for the On/Off button. To deactivate the child lock, simply repeat the same steps. When the hob’s child safety lock is activated, the symbol 'L' or a lock will appear on the display
The hob’s child safety lock can be activated whether it is turned off or in use. For more detailed information on how to activate and deactivate the child safety lock, refer to the product’s manual. You can find the manual by searching for the product name or article number in the search field at the top of our website. Click on "Product details" and then "Assembly and documents".

If you are having trouble starting the hob, it could be because the overheat protection is activated, there is an issue with the fuses, the control panel is wet, your fingers are wet, or the child lock is activated. Make sure you have dry hands and that the control panel is dry and clean. If it still doesn't start, check the fuses connected to the hob.
