How does Click & collect work?
To use this service, add your desired products to the shopping cart and select the "Click & collect" option at checkout. Choose your preferred pickup location and time slot. You will receive a confirmation email or SMS with pickup information, and when your order is ready, you will receive a notification to pick it up. In case of any problems during collection, please follow the instructions in the order confirmation, and if that does not help, you can contact IKEA Customer Service.
a. When shopping online, add your desired products to the shopping cart.
b. Select the "Click & collect" option or "Click & collect - Pick up box" at checkout if this is available to you. You can see which department stores offer Pick Up Boxes on our page about Click & collect on IKEA.se.
c. Select your preferred IKEA store and the time slot that suits you best for pickup.
d. Sometimes no available times are shown for your chosen department store due to high demand. Please try again in 1-2 days, as new times will be released continuously. It could also be because the stock level is too low, your order exceeds 500 kg, or the item belongs to a temporary collection that is only sold online. In these cases, it is not possible to select Click & collect.
e. Complete your order. If you're an IKEA Family member and spend more than £99, the service cost will be automatically removed at checkout.
f. If you change your mind before pick-up, you can try to cancel your Click & collect order via the self-service tool "Track and manage my order". Please note that it is not always possible to cancel depending on the service your order contains, and Click & collect can usually not be changed after payment due to the store starting to process your order shortly after it has been paid.
a. Your order is handled and reserved at your chosen IKEA store.
b. You will receive a confirmation email or SMS with information about when and where you can pick up your goods. It is not possible to collect your order until you have received this notification.
c. Your Click & Collect order will remain in place for 24 hours from the booked time slot and will be ready for collection during those 24 hours. If for any reason you are still unable to collect your Click & collect order within these 24 hours, your order will be cancelled and your items will be removed. We will only refund the value of the goods, but not the service cost.
d. Track the status of your order via "Track and manage my order".
e. Stay up to date on any changes or delays by checking your email and SMS regularly during the time interval.
a. When your order is ready, you will receive an SMS. Keep in mind that you must receive this SMS before you go to the store.
b. Check the opening hours and specific collection instructions for the selected IKEA store. This information can be found on IKEA.se under the page "Find your IKEA store".
c. Arrange assistance if your order contains heavy or bulky goods.
d. Go to the designated Click & collect or Pick Up Box area during your booked time slot, provided you have received a text message that your order is ready for collection.
e. Open the SMS with the confirmation that the goods are ready and click on the "Check in" button. Then show the QR code to pick up your order in the Click & collect area. If someone else picks up for you, share the QR code with the person. If you have chosen Pick Up Box, i.e. to pick up from a locker, your SMS will instead contain instructions and a PIN code. If for some reason you are unable to collect your order, please go to the Customer Service department in the store and present your ID and order confirmation for assistance.
f. The goods are pre-packed on a trolley for a convenient pick-up at the Click & collect area or in the Pick Up Box.
g. Pick up your goods and load them into your vehicle.
