"When I first began sketching GJÖRA bed frame, I had the idea of making a higher end with a rounded rail for hanging things on. Perfect for airing, drying or picking out clothes – or draping a beautiful fabric. The low end is perfect to hold onto while getting dressed, because we all need a little support sometimes. And because the bed is made from untreated massive birch, you can oil, wax, varnish, stain or paint the surface to suit your style. The possibilities are endless!"
