Can a plastic bag be sustainable?
Tricky question – but allow us to explain what we’ve done to make FRAKTA as sustainable as possible. Min. 90% of the bag is made from recycled material, of which at least 70% is plastic with a previous life in the food or plastic industry, like jumbo bags for milk powder or food containers. We added a small percentage of pigment and virgin material to give the bag its iconic blue color and to ensure its durability over time, carrying up to 55 lbs.
