This cover’s ability to resist abrasion has been tested to handle 55,000 cycles. 15,000 cycles or more is suitable for furniture used every day at home. Over 30,000 cycles means a good ability to resist abrasion.This seating furniture is tested and complies with relevant strength and durability standards. The tests simulate typical usage of the product and are based on use by persons weighing up to 110 kg.The cover has a lightfastness level of 5 (the ability to resist colour fading) on a scale of 1 to 8. According to industry standards, a lightfastness level of 4 or higher is suitable for home use.

Great ProductAnonymous reviewerI bought a Kivik when I was working and living in SG. Loved the overall size, comfort and design. Left it back in SG when I came back. Wasn't planning to pick one up but got this unit for a great price from "As Is" section. No complaints on the product but Ikea staff have to be more knowledgeable on the "As Is" section. Was told I needed to pay 10% on unit price 1. 13k (Total 230) for disassembly and assembly including transport. When I went to do all that, was informed no such thing. Just transport. A lot of people would be put off because of the additional 10% twice, especially big-ticket items if they don't know the product. o proper info helps a lot in decision making.5

The cushion is softer than I had expected, wished it would be a bit firmer. Assembly was easy, the movers offered to install but I declined. Comfy SeatsTayThe seats are comfy. I like the firmness of the seat. It is not too hard yet not too soft. And it can be used as a sleeping couch during day nap. I ordered via online and the delivery was done by third party contractor. The contractor arrived on-time at my door step, at sharp 11am as promised by the contractor via phone call that i received before his arrival. I received text messages and phone call on the delivery status - therefore I am aware on the delivery and whereabout of my item, The installation was fast, by the same contractor under 30 minutes. He also handled the trash debris to the correct disposal location after installation work. Nice work! However, I would advise if he could educate me more on the maintenance, which items can be washed. But I think this can be done by calling Ikea store.4
