At IKEA, we are committed to ensure the well-being of our customers and co-workers. With health and safety as our top priority, we have enhanced our preventative measures across the entire shopping experience to ensure co-workers and customers feel safe to work and shop.

And because we want to help you shop safely, we worked hard to provide you with many ways of shopping that are safe and convenient, serving you through contactless Click & Collect, remote planning services and home delivery.

You can choose how to shop, whether online or in the store, we are there for you so you can have everything you need when you need it.

IKEA 360 will be open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. (until further notice).

IKEA Restaurant Takeaway

IKEA now offers restaurant takeaway, so you can still enjoy on-the-go your IKEA favorites found in the restaurant like Swedish meatballs to veggie balls, and sustainably sourced salmon! We are even offering affordable Family Meals! This IKEA takeaway offer is in addition to the existing grab and go options at the IKEA Bistro, IKEA Bakery and IKEA Café. After the check-out, you can also buy food from the Swedish Food Market to take home.

Shopping at the IKEA store

  • Keep 2 meters distance between other customers and co-workers.
  • Wear your mask while shopping.
  • Hand sanitizers are placed throughout the store. 
  • Pay with debit card or credit card as much as possible to avoid contact.

Extra safety measures

  • We have sanitized the whole store and have continuous extra focus on hygiene in the store.
  • We measure everyone's temperature before entering the store, and kindly advise them to stay home if it’s 37.5c degrees or above.
  • All trolleys are sanitized between each usage.
  • Plexiglass is installed between co-workers and customers in planning, checkout and exchange and returns areas.
  • All products returned are sanitized before returning to the store. 
  • If co-workers or any of their family members have cold or flu symptoms, we ask them to stay home.

Closed areas

  • Småland is closed until further notice.
  • Our IKEA Restaurant and IKEA Café are temporarily closed.
  • After the check-out, you can buy food from the IKEA Bistro and the Swedish Food Market to take home.

Delivery and assembly

  • We are sanitizing hands before, during and after each visit.
  • We are using gloves and masks and changing them after each visit.
  • We are wearing covers when we deliver and assemble for you.
  • Our trucks are equipped with sanitizers, gloves and masks.
  • All delivery and assembly co-workers are getting inspected regularly for temperature and symptoms.
  • You’ll be informed 48 hours before we are coming.
