The upholstered seat and comfortable angle of the backrest make the chair perfect for long dinners.
The seat cover is woven from cotton and polyester with a light structure that makes it soft and comfortable. The yarn-dyed fabric has a tone-on-tone effect and a clean and calm look.
The cover is easy to keep clean as it is removable and machine washable.
Solid wood chair frame makes the construction durable and very sturdy.
Easy to combine with tables and benches in the same series.

Care
Machine wash, max 40°C, normal process.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
Iron, max 150°C.
Professional dry cleaning in tetrachloroethene and hydrocarbons, normal process.
Wipe clean with a mild soapy solution.
Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
For increased stability, re-tighten the screws about two weeks after assembly and when necessary.

What is foam?
Foam is excellent as upholstery in seating and mattresses since it provides good comfort and can relieve pressure by moulding to the body. Depending on the properties and feel you’re looking for, there are several qualities to choose from, like high-resilience foam and memory foam. The raw material for foam was previously based entirely on virgin fossil materials. But today, together with our suppliers, we’ve begun developing a material that is renewable and recycled.

“For me, the dining area is the given centre of the home. My idea with EKEDALEN series was to make a dining set for everything from large dinners to doing homework and crafts. The table is easy to extend, and since the legs follow the table when it’s extended, guests won’t have table legs in the way. The chairs are comfortable and the covers are machine-washable. Flexible and functional for modern homes."
