Great look and feel but poor compression strengthRajeevIt serves as an excellent light-weight office desk. But be careful if you are going to use a monitor mount. In 3 months, I had a deep depression on the desk. You might have to use reinforcement plates if you need a monitor mount! To be fair, the ikea rep at the store did tell me that the material is not suited for mounting. Unfortunately all table tops are of the same material in Ikea :-(
Meets expectationsMadhusudanThe table serves its purpose pretty well and from the looks of it, is likely to last longer than most particle board based tables. I ordered beige, but what was delivered was a sort of dull grey (certainly not beige) and the surface itself seems to get stained pretty easily. Hence the loss of two stars. Buy if you just need a functional table and do not care about color variations.
