Real VFM productAhmadThe bed is string and adults can easily use it including the bunk. It was quite easy to assemble and it tool one hour from start to finish. You need the help of another person as some parts need to be held in place while you tighten the screws. Strangely one set of screws (6 nos) didn't fit into their responding holes. As they were not critical to the structure of the bed, I assembled without them. I hope IKEA has better QC while sending out accessories along with the product.5

We also test our bunk beds thoroughly to ensure they are strong, durable and safe for children. For instance, the guardrails are set to prevent a child from slipping through. There is only one opening in the guardrails, reducing the risk of falling from the upper bed. Also, the ladder steps are evenly spaced to make climbing up and down easier. Upper bed is not suitable for children under 6 years.
