The backside of this wardrobe is not firm, bulges outPiyushThough I'm a avid lover of IKEA products, this one was a real disappointment. The design was beautiful, as always, but the build quality of it's back makes it a big NO. Because, it's made of a thin sun-mica sheet and not of ply/particle board. So, once you start stuffing your wardrobe, you'll see it bulging outwards. Which indeed is really disappointing.1

Material

What is particleboard?

Particleboard is made from recycled wood and sawmill leftovers – so wood pieces with the wrong shade, woodchips and sawdust become a resource instead of possibly being discarded. We use boards for things like bookcases, bed frames, sofas and kitchen frames. To protect from wear and moisture, we apply varnish, veneer or foil that adds to the furniture's look.
