Nice quality and weight and price is a steal for what would cost a lot more elsewhere. I had wanted a dish like this for ages and was very happy to find this in store. Would love a smaller version for serving veggies, rice and potatoes.

I now have four of these dishes in two sizes. They are so useful for cooking and serving a wide range of recipes from lasagne to poached fruit. They wash really well in a dishwasher or by hand and work equally well in a cooker or microwave.

A tougher type of glass

Borosilicate glass can handle conditions that are a bit too tough for ordinary household glass. It’s very impact and scratch resistant and withstands rapid temperature changes, allowing you to take it directly from the freezer to the oven – or vice versa.
