These cooking tweezers and well designed to do the job, with the right amount of grip and spring, at very reasonable price. They also have a hole at the joined end so they can be hung from a Kungsfors or other rail.

I like it better than regular cooking thongs as it is pointy at the tip and can lift whatever your grilling.

These work well - they are precise and easy to use. They are not spring loaded, so holding them closer to the pointy end helps with control of food, and less squeezing is needed. Recommend these tweezers.
