Incredible Product - Works Like MagicKamilIKEA makes incredible products, and this Fornuftig Air Purifier is a testament to the quality and standards.
I had severe fine dust, lint, etc, among other issues. I had another machine set, but still the issue persisted. After setting up this Air Purifier, my room is mostly dust and lint-free.
You cannot expect it to get everything from everywhere but it takes care of 80% of the issue. I have set it up to level 3, and it runs continuously 24/7.
The noise is only noticeable when you have switched all the equipment in the room off, and even then, it's minimal.
It's been months, and I still have not found the need, nor has the indicator been lit for filter change. So the filter will also last a very long time.
I am extremely happy with yet another IKEA purchase and I hope to keep purchasing more such incredible products from IKEA in the future.
P.S: My only suggestion to IKEA is to do something about the colour change of the prefilter after the HEPA filter has collected dust.
Sensible indeed.Anonymous reviewerI live in Delhi and the AQI goes to hazard in some months, thanks to stubble burning in nearby states. Air purifier becomes a necessity during that time. This one works as expected but dont expect it to filter a big hall as its a small device, works best in a small room of 140 square feet or less. Low power mode is quiet and can be used as a sleep mode. Filters are not costly but its not HEPA, its EPA-12 that does 95% of the job, which is good enough for me. Also the filters are snug fit and well made so all the air it intakes goes through the filter assembly. Carbon filter is good for odours and other irritants, recommended. The primary cloth filter in the front is useful. This product looks classy and minimalistic with only one knob to adjust speed and switch it on. Go for it in case you are looking for a budget friendly option.

Pollution in a busy city can often be visible to the naked eye. But, did you know that the air in our homes also contains pollution from dust, pollen, cooking and gas chemicals that are bad for our health? Airing out and cleaning help to a certain degree, but with an air purifier, the particles and gas chemicals such as formaldehyde are effectively filtered – while you do other things.
David Wahl works as a Product Designer at IKEA. In connection with a move some years ago, he became more aware of how much the indoor air means to our health. “All homes contain particles and gas chemicals in different shapes, and today when we spend more time indoor, they can lead to, among other things, allergic reactions and bad sleep.”
