This product is not usableManojThe design of this product is flawed. It fails to provide a stable platform for the footrest, as even the slightest pressure can shift its position. There is no mechanism to lock the footrest in place, which makes it unusable. To improve its functionality, it should include a locking mechanism to secure the footrest in a fixed positions.1

Could Be BetterAnonymous reviewerWe bought the foot rest couple of months back and have been using it. It was great at start but over time the nuts got loose and fell off. Since its at foot you wont realise the loose nut until you actually see it. I tired to fix the nut but they get loose after a while. I found a solution to it. Instead of nuts I used a rope through the nut holes to tie it tightly and now its working fine. Ikea can think of replacing the nuts ....3

This is such a great foot rest when sitting at length at my desk/table. I have short legs so I usually use small boxes under each desk to elevate my legs comfortably.
