How long does it take to get an IKEA kitchen?

At IKEA, we make it effortless to purchase your dream kitchen.

At IKEA, we strive to make the process of designing and installing your dream kitchen as seamless as possible. Here’s a step-by-step guide to what you can expect:

  1. Design Appointments: Typically, it takes 2 to 3 appointments to finalize your kitchen design. This process can span 2–3 days, depending on the availability of both our coworker and you.

  2. Pre-Order Visit (POV): Once your kitchen design is finalized, we will arrange a Pre-Order Visit (POV) to verify the plan and ensure the site fitments are accurate. Our POV team will assess the site and inform us if any changes are required in the design or if any civil work is needed to accommodate the kitchen installation.

  3. Order Placement: After receiving the go-ahead from the POV team, we can proceed with placing your order. Delivery of the articles usually takes approximately 2–4 days, though timelines may vary depending on stock and delivery slot availability.

  4. Cabinet Installation: Installation of the base and wall cabinets typically takes around 2–3 days, assuming an average of 10 cabinets. Once the cabinet installation is complete, our Worktop Measurements Team will visit the site to take precise measurements based on actual site conditions.

  5. Worktop Fabrication and Installation: The worktop fabrication and delivery process takes approximately 15–20 days, after which the worktop will be installed.

Note: The timelines mentioned are indicative and may vary in case of any issues related to delivery, installation, or site conditions.

We are committed to ensuring that your kitchen installation process is smooth and efficient, so you can start enjoying your new space as soon as possible.
