Can I add, modify or change articles in my online order after payment?

Once an order is placed, it is not possible to add, modify or change articles in the order.

We know plans can change.
However, once your order is placed, our team gets started on preparing it for you right away – so adding, modifying, or changing items isn’t possible at this stage. That said, we’re always here to help if you’d like to explore other options or place a new order.
If you need to make any changes to your order, you can cancel the current order and place a new one with your preferred articles. To make it easier for you, we would suggest you select Digital Refund Card as the refund method. It allows the amount to be credited faster than the original payment method – just to let you know this, if you want to place a new order. To cancel your order, please choose a relevant option:
  • For registered IKEA family members, please click here (Log in to your IKEA Family profile, and manage your orders).
  • For non-IKEA family members, please click here (Track your order using order number, and email or phone number).
Note: Refund to Digital Refund Card may take a maximum of 30 minutes, whereas refund to the original payment method is 6 business days.
