Can I combine modular ranges with articles from different range or series?
Modular products are generally designed to work only with items from the same product series, unless IKEA specifically confirms compatibility.
Each modular range is developed to fit and function with products from its own series. Combining different modular ranges of the same type is usually not possible unless this is clearly stated in the product information. For example, PAX wardrobes are not compatible with the PLATSA modular storage system.
Some product ranges are designed to complement each other as separate components. For example:
- BILLY bookcases can be combined with OXBERG doors.
- PAX wardrobes are designed to be used with KOMPLEMENT interior fittings.
Always check the product details and compatibility information before combining products from different ranges.
