Why can't I turn on my induction hob?

If you are having trouble starting the hob, it may be because the boil-over protection is activated, there is a problem with the fuses, the control panel is wet or you have wet fingers, or the child lock is activated. Make sure you have dry hands and that the control panel is dry and clean. If it still can't start, check the fuses connected to the hob.

The boil-over guard reacts to liquid, so if you have wet hands or the surface is wet, the control panel may stop reacting. Try to touch the sensor with your finger as horizontally as possible so that you get a good contact surface.
There are usually two fuses in the switchboard that are connected to the hob. Replace the fuse or reactivate the fuse if necessary. If there isnothing wrong with the fuse, try de-energizing the hob for 30 minutes before plugging it back into the mains.
If all cooking zone lights are flashing or emitting an E, then the cookware you are using is probably not suitable for induction.
