Gorgeous bar stoolsOrlaGreat quality bar stools at a great price. Fits under our counter perfectly (make sure to measure so you can pick the right height of stool!). Have wooden floors and had no issues with levelling which other comments have complained about. Added the felt bads to prevent scraping. Easy enough to assemble, only slightly tricky part was screwing the foot rest bars when screwing directly into wood with no guide holes. A lot of pressure needed. Will probably buy the matching kitchen chairs now but would love a fully matching extendable table too! Max weight they can hold is around 17 stone, so wouldn't be suitable for some larger folk. 5

What is solid wood?

Solid wood is one of our favourite materials and is part of our Scandinavian heritage. It is also a timeless material with many uses. Regardless of the wood species, it is durable, beautiful and renewable. Choose the right bar stool height

Choose the right height of your bar stool so that it is comfy to sit on, offers plenty of leg room and is proportionate with the rest of your space. Kitchen counters and counter-height tables typically range from 87-91 cm from the floor. To find the perfect stool for your counter, look for a seat height of 60-66 cm. Tabletops or counters that measure between 101-106 cm from the floor, are typically classified as "bar height", and require a seat height of 72-76 centimetres.
