We’re excited to announce that from 8th June we will be welcoming you back to our IKEA stores in Ireland.​ Of course, the safety of our customers and co-workers remains the highest priority so we have been working hard to welcome you back safely. We’ve introduced new measures so you can enjoy a safe and comfortable shopping experience. Find more information about our steps to a safer shopping experience  here.

Home Delivery options and availability
You can continue to browse and purchase products from our range online or through the IKEA app if you'd rather not visit your local store just yet. All our deliveries will remain contact-free and doorstep only. To find out more and keep up to date with our response to the current situation, please visit us here.

Due to high demand, we are experiencing longer delivery times than normal.

Contact-free delivery

Our delivery partners have received clear guidelines on how to deliver your order to you in the safest way.

For parcel deliveries, your order will be delivered contact-free to your doorstep and you can manage your delivery preferences through the tracking application. A link will be provided to you as part of the delivery process. 

Due to continuing high volumes, our parcel delivery partners are experiencing delays in some areas. Whilst we are doing everything we can to meet your delivery date, there may be a delay of up to 2 days whilst they do their best to get back on track.

For larger deliveries, our drivers will contact you 1 hour prior to the delivery.  Please keep in mind when ordering bulky or heavy items that contact-free deliveries will be delivered to your hallway or threshold entrance. For the safety of our customers and delivery partners, and in line with government guidelines, we are currently unable to deliver items to the room of your choice.

If you are in self-isolation

If you or someone in your household are self-isolating, we kindly ask you to book a delivery slot after the isolation period has ended. If you already have a delivery scheduled during a period of self-isolation, please reschedule by clicking here.

Click and collect options and availability

We have suspended our Order and Collection service as a precautionary measure. Customers who have already placed a collection order will be contacted to arrange a re-delivery, alternative collection date or refund.

We will continue to watch this situation closely, with advice from the Government and other relevant authorities and take any further action needed to keep our customers and co–workers safe.

If you’re placing an order online, we offer the following delivery methods:

Smaller delivery – €9.95

Smaller deliveries are fulfilled by An Post Monday - Friday at a cost of €9.95.

Larger delivery – from €49*

Larger two person deliveries are fulfilled by our approved suppliers, Monday – Sunday depending on your postcode. This is for larger orders or any products that we deem unsuitable for parcel delivery.

Express Delivery - €55*


If you would like your order quicker, please select Express Delivery at checkout to have your goods delivered to your home in 1-2 days. Available delivery slots will be shown at checkout.
