    Choosing the best garden bistro table and chairs

    With so many beautiful bistro sets to choose from, it can be overwhelming to decide. Luckily, there are some easy considerations for finding the right fit.

    Consider the size and layout of your outdoor space

    A bistro table and chairs are among the most petite of patio furniture designs, but some styles are a bit larger than others. Consider not only how much space you have for your bistro set itself, but how much open space you want to preserve around it when mapping up ideal dimensions.

    For areas especially tight, such as balconies, a small bistro set offers function that fits. If you have a larger space, a larger wooden patio bistro set might make more sense for appropriate scale while offering more generously sized tables and seats.

    Find your personal design and colour preferences

    In addition to making sure your outdoor bistro set literally fits your space, you’ll also want to ensure it fits your personal style. Consider your preferred materials, colours, table shape and whether you want chairs with cushions and/or arms.

    Next, you’ll want to consider how important it is to you that your garden bistro set be easy to fold up or stack for storage or moving home. Many of our bistro sets feature easy-folding chairs and tables that take up little space when collapsed.

    Once you’ve found the bistro table and chairs you like best, a few finishing touches can really make it a favourite spot to sit. Consider adding comfort and colour with outdoor cushions and create a cosy atmosphere with modern outdoor lighting. Add a pitcher of iced tea and an outdoor speaker to the table and relax away the day, one sip and tune at a time.

    Maintaining your garden bistro set

    Our outtdoor bistro sets are designed to withstand everyday weather conditions, but regular maintenance and protective storage covers during inclement weather is recommended. This is partly determined by the area you live in and the associated weather and temperature concerns.

    For example, leaving a metal bistro table outside during a snowy winter can cause its finish to fade, as can leaving it in a hot sunny area somewhere warmer. If taking your set inside isn’t an option, consider investing in some garden storage to protect against harsh weather conditions when not in use.
