Died on us--twiceAnonymous reviewerWe loved the massive size of this peace lily--supposedly a pretty hardy plant, so we picked one up and were really happy with it for a couple of weeks. Then leaves started turning yellow and basically rotting at the base, for no apparent reason. We've got lots of happy plants already so we knew it wasn't anything we'd done. Thinking it may have been over-watered before it got to us, we returned it to IKEA and received a store credit, purchased another one, and repotted it. We found the original soil was really very wet. Unfortunately the same symptoms recurred, there was nothing we could do, and then they refused us a refund. This thing looks great initially, but don't waste your time and money on it!1

There was no warning on the item or online. Please be aware before buying. Other than that I was impressed. I had managed to keep it alive for some time.2
