The price of this was just right, it's lightweight for me and my son to move, and easy to clean. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars is that the seat has a lip rather than a smooth seat to slide on and off of.

Best buy ever…Anonymous reviewerI already have this item. I have bought this one for my neighbours son who loves my little table and chairs and it’s his 2nd Birthday. I am a grandmother who looked after my adorable grandchildren from an early age, till they began school. This table and chairs set was and still is, the most important piece of furniture for the children I have ever owned. They did everything on it, eat snacks, lunch, dinners etc. playdo, painting and drawing, reading… as I said, everything. I often look after them in term holidays and that table and chairs are still used. I have painted the wood bits and I’ve used fablon on the table and chairs tops, it looks like new, and it’s functional future in my home is assured, till it either falls apart or one of my grandchildren would like it for their own home. By the way my grandson is aged 7 and my granddaughter is aged 5, and I’ve looked after them when they were 9 months old respectively.

My grandson loves it. Anonymous reviewerIt’s very light which is useful when moving around but it’s quite flimsy and the seat looks a bit uncomfortable as the sides and the base aren’t really level so there is a small ridge. As it’s for a toddler I doubt they’d sit long enough for it to become troublesome.

What is fibreboard?
Fibreboard is a stable and durable material made of leftover wood from the wood industry. A durable outer layer of paint or laminate is added to the board. The difference between various types of fibreboards, such as HDF and MDF, is mainly the thickness, yet also how impact-resistant they are.
