Long lastingAnonymous reviewerI bought these when my teens were little, 11 years later they’re still going strong! We’re only £99 back then too 5
Excellent and easy to assembleAnonymous reviewerI am a single mum and got this bed in 2016 when my children were 6 and 10 yo. Between the three of us we managed to assemble the bed relatively easily and we still have fond and proud memories of how we did it. The bed has been in constant use ever since and it held up brilliantly. It does squeak though, which I personally quite like as it lets me know when the kids are not asleep and messing around. As a recommendation for improvement, I would have liked the hight between the lower and upper bunk to be more, so that an adult / teenager could sit comfortably on the lower bunk without leaning.5
Don’t understand all the bad reviews Anonymous reviewerHad these 4 years now and they still perfect, they hold a 14 and 12 year old, I’ve had bunk beds in the past and they’ve been cheap and made from monkey metal and lasted a year if that. These are very strong and sturdy well worth the money! 5
Beware, it's bigger than the website says!Anonymous reviewerWe bought it for our smallest bedroom, to fit between the window and the boxing over the stairs, and without moving a radiator, as the 200cm x 90cm made it the only bunk bed we could find that would fit the space perfectly. However, after unpacking the huge boxes, and taking them to the tip, assembly threw up a major problem in that those measurements refer to the space for the mattress, and the actual frame measures 273.3cm x 96.5cm, which was too big to fit the space. So in order to make it fit, we had to dismantle and rebuild smaller the boxing over the stairs, cut a semi-circle out of the window ledge, and remove the skirting board around the recess so that the bed legs had a firm base to stand on. Then, as the bed is too big to fit through the door, it was an absolute nightmare to assemble in such a confined space. However, now it is in place, it seems a reasonable quality product, although some of the welds look a bit sparse in length.3

Sturdy and good looking butAnonymous reviewerSturdy and good looking but hard to assemble4
Don't buyAnonymous reviewerProduct not recommended. Not strong base.2
Gone beyond repair in 1.5 years!Anonymous reviewerMost of reviewers hadn’t used bed before writing a review unfortunately! We get bunk bed in 2016- first impression was very good. Looks and comfort etc... The truth is in about 4 months it started to make terrible screeching noises which couldn’t be fixed by tightening or anyway. In about a year it was disturbing not only us but also our neighbours! We would get rid of it but had to move into our new house and decided not to spend extra and postpone buying a new bed- how wrong we were! It didn’t survive moving - all joints were broken beyond repair ! Verdict- unless you are planning to have bed for a few months and don’t mind sharp noises than it’s fine. Can’t recommend in any other situation!2
Bunk bedsAnonymous reviewerJust perfect, very sturdy and safe. Grandchildren love them!5
Great and sturdy bedAnonymous reviewerBought this as my daughter and son will need share a room soon and it is great value for money.5
Really badly designedAnonymous reviewerI bought these beds for my kids (9 and 11 yo) back in March 2018. At first I was really pleased as they do look great. However, 18 months later I've had to throw them away and buy new bunk beds (non Ikea ones). Whilst the frame is really solid, the bed bases are not. They are made of a crisscross of thin metal rods, with only 3 main supporting metal bars: one at each end of the beds, and one at the centre. After only 18 months of use the bases were so badly bent my kids would wake up in the morning with backaches. I contacted customer services but was told the beds come with only a 12 months warranty and no new bed bases could be provided/bought. I therefore do not recommend these beds.1
Anonymous reviewerSo far so good except the screeching noises it makes when in use.4
Bunk bedsAnonymous reviewerBought this for my grandsons - very strong and safe bunks bought with comfy mattress. Great buy5
Anonymous reviewerNice & sturdy, perfect for our twin boys.5
STRONG AND DURABLEAnonymous reviewerThis bed is extremely very well made, very sturdy and durable. My kids are extremely enthusiastic about their new bed. You can tell this bunk has been made with consideration to the needs of those that will be buying and using this product. It looks very sleep and stylish in my children’s bedroom. Simple and lovely colour too. I can not fault this bed at all. The slats seem to be very strong and durable. Exceptional value.5
Excellent QualityAnonymous reviewerBought for my Grandchildren, quick assembly and look great5
Yes a great sizeAnonymous reviewerThe colour online is very misleading it shows a bunkbed that looks silver but when it arrived it was a dark grey4

Material

What is steel?

Steel has unique characteristics when it is stretched and shaped since it remains strong. It provides strength to everything from skyscrapers and cars to bed frames and outdoor furniture. The steel industry is moving in the direction of more energy-efficient production and stronger steel qualities. It doesn’t lose any of its properties when recycled and today steel is one of the most recycled materials in the world.

Function solution

Bunk beds are safe and fun

Kids love the fun, cosy feel of a bunk bed. They also like to move around in bed after you’ve turned off the lights. That’s why we have strict construction requirements. We also test our bunk beds thoroughly to ensure they are strong, durable and safe for children. For instance, the guardrails are set to prevent a child from slipping through. There is only one opening in the guardrails, reducing the risk of falling from the upper bed. Also, the ladder steps are evenly spaced to make climbing up and down easier. Upper bed is not suitable for children under 6 years.
