Let's get to know EUPHORBIA ACRURENSIS, also known as the Desert candle

The Desert candle is native to South Africa and as its name suggests it very much prefers warmer surroundings able to withstand longer periods of dry with little to no water. This slow-growing easy-care plant is actually related to the Poinsettia. 

Conditions

Place in a bright area and sunny area. 

Watering

The growing medium should be kept dry most of the time. 

Minimum temperature 12°C

A lower temperature could affect the plant, they prefer to be slightly warmer.

Location

Your Desert candle should be kept indoors.

Not for consumption

This plant is just for decoration, and should not be consumed.

Recommended pot diameter: 24cm

As your plant grows it will need some more space, aim for a pot that's 5-7cm larger than the previous pot.
