Nice looking but cheap in some critical areasAnonymous reviewerThe wardrobe itself is very nice, looks great and assembly is awkward but not terribly difficult.
Ikea have cheaped-out in some areas though; The main door has nice soft-close hinges but the two smaller cupboards have really cheap snap-shut hinges from the late 80's. This should definitely be called out in the description as it cheapens the overall product. For a £350 wardrobe it really should have the same hinges throughout.
Also, the hanging bar in the main wardrobe is held up with a cheap plastic bracket that you slide the bar into in a back-to-front direction rather than top-down (Imagine a C shape with a locking tab rather than a U shape) This means the weight is entirely borne by just the lower curve of the C and ours broke within a few weeks of use. This part needs to be redesigned or made of metal rather than plastic.

Well worth the money , had to replace the long door due to their being a slight chip- phoned customer service and it was swapped over without a problem. Bit confused why the delivery driver didn’t just swap over with the faulty one- but just phoned again and had another delivery driver come out a week later to pick up the faulty one. Overall happy with the result

not impressed with instructionsAnonymous reviewerIn general the design and build quality is very good. I do however have one beef. Its with the back panel that slides into pre cut grooves. To do this you need to be in a space that it nearly 4m long and that is bigger than the room I am building it in, and there's a bed in the way, it is intended for a bedroom! It would have been helpful to understand this when choosing this product.
To make it work I am in the middle of shaving down the panel edges so I can hopefully slot it directly into the groove, but what an unnecessary faff, and voiding any warranty at the same time. As for the rest of the build I haven't got that far yet.

Good at First!!!Anonymous reviewerThis Wardrobe was great, but soon became disappointed with it. The four small draws over time have stared to sag in the middle due to there being no support. They are slowly becoming awkward to open as they catch on the large draw underneath. This is a bad design.

What is constructed board?
We use constructed boards when manufacturing many of our pieces of furniture, such as tables and wardrobes. They are light yet still stable and strong. Each board has a frame made of chipboard, fibreboard or solid wood, while the inside is a honeycomb filling structure made of mostly recycled paper, which is extra durable thanks to its special construction. The board is then covered with a protective paint, foil or veneer depending on the style wanted.
