Good to know

To keep your sofa looking good, you should regularly flatten out creases and wrinkles with your hand.

The velvet reflects light in a characteristic way which may make the colour appear as if it changes.

Press marks that may appear on the velvet usually disappear after some time. With your hand, you can gently stroke in the direction of the pile or use a clothes brush. You can also use the vacuum cleaner with the soft nozzle.

Small fibres may appear on velvet. It happens naturally and they disappear over time and can also be removed with a garment roll.

Bought 2, both damagedAnonymous reviewerI bought 2 of these to go with a sofabed section. Both came with the same damage - the chaise lifts up to reveal a storage space the base of which is thin chipboard. Both sofas have what looks like a dropped hammer dent in the chipboard which goes through to the underside compromising the structure of the bottom of the storage area. I didn't return them as I couldn't stand the hassle but I did need to buy some additional materials to shore up / strengthen this area to make it functional. The chaise itself is comfortable and a nice design. 3
