You can create your own perfect combination with the planning tool. Assemble, take apart and put together again until it’s just right.

The wide armrests have room for everything from your mobile phone to a bowl of movie snacks – and they are also comfortable to lay your head on when you lie down on the sofa for a rest.

This cover is made from Hallarp fabric in cotton and polyester. It is soft, comfortable and durable – and woven with a texture and a slight two-tone effect.

The cover is easy to keep clean since it is removable and machine washable.

Vimle wide armsAnonymous reviewerI already owned two vimle sofas, both two-seaters. They're a bit small but the three seater was too big for our Victorian terrace. When IKEA brought out the wide-arm option I realised they would make the sofa bigger (in effect, because they're only slightly higher than the seat cushions) and would enable us to lie down on it. The new arms have dramatically improved the comfort and functionality of our sofa, and make it look classier as well.5
