Comfortable sofa but oil on mattress from mechanism and the supporting strap has come offAnonymous reviewerThe sofa is very spacious and comfortable but there is oil on the mattress from the mechanism and the supporting strap has come off. The bed has only been used approximately 14 times since July but is used every evening as a sofa. The bed is also comfortable but if there are two in it you need to lay still because it moves a lot. The strap has come off underneath which i guess is to support the slats so we're trying to contact ikea about this. There is oil all over the mattress and mattress cover on one side from the mechanism.3
Very nice, comfy sofaAnonymous reviewerI did know that a Vimle sofa would be comfy because my son has a much bigger Vimle sofa in navy blue. I was wary, however, as this sofa would be replacing two much loved Tidafors sofas. I'm trying to downsize though. They were too big and had been damaged by my two cats... It was hard to say goodbye...but then my son put the NEW sofa together for me....and it's GREAT. Mind you, if you were still stocking Tidafors, I would have stayed with that design. But this has been a good replacement.
One thing I'd like to mention though. THE COLOUR. It's a big disappointment to me. Form the online illustration, I expected a colour much nearer to a biscuit colour, not so pale. Never mind, that aside, it has been a really good purchase and I'm happy with it.5

Great sofaAnonymous reviewerI looked at a lot of sofas, I wanted removable covers (dog) and a pale colour that wasn't grey. A bit of a faff to put together, but did it on my own and it wasn't difficult. The cushions are quite firm, but my bad back's been massively improved and it's comfortable. It looks great and is a generous size for a two seater. I'll probably get some white covers made (unless Ikea add them to the range) and have decided to get the three seater as well. No drawbacks.5
