Firm but yieldingAnonymous reviewerLove this mattress. It's firm and supportive but yielding. I've got a 5cm mattress topper on it and honestly couldn't have a better night's sleep. I've got arthritis in various places so it's not always easy for me but this matreess definitely helps
Discomfort zonesAnonymous reviewerI have been sleeping (badly) on this medium firm mattress for several months now, so these are not first impressions. Getting into bed the mattress feels comfortable for about half an hour, then the difference of firmness becomes noticeable. Across my upper back it is rock firm, definitely not medium, across my lower back the mattress is porridge soft. Every morning I wake in pain, the so called comfort zones are the problem, with obvious boundaries between them. I am now in a position where Ikea only produce mattresses with medium-firm and firm ratings, both of which are evidently too firm for me and have (dis)comfort zones. So now I’m stuck with £700 of discomfort with little option for exchange to something more suitable. Not impressed

This one make has no comfort and can feel every bone in hips and back would not recommend the option might try a topper as its so hard and unsupportive which is a shame as its quite an expensive mattress

It's firm and supportive and breathable and pretty comfortable on its own but pair it with a memory foam topper and you have utter luxury. This matress also is super supportive for back issues and you can side and back sleep with comfort.

I have been sleeping on this mattress for nearly 10 months now and I keep thinking that I'll get into bed and it will not be a nice as the last night, but every night it's soooo comfortable. The natural fibres meant we were cool in the summer and we've been warm in the winter. It is hands down the best mattress we have bought. I am on the heavier side and my husband much slighter, we both sleep amazingly and wake up ache free, even going through menopause when some nights I don't get a huge amount of sleep, I am comfortable whilst pondering how quickly there would be more treatments if men went through menopause. It's more expensive but sooooo worth the extra money.

Best mattress I have ever hadAnonymous reviewerBought this for our spare bedroom so it has be slept on by lots of guests. Everyone says how well they sleep in this room and currently my partner and I are sleeping on it cause it is so much nicer than our other (much more expensive) mattress. Looking to buy one for that bed but they don’t sell in Super King in the UK. Ikea please fix this!

Excellent, 3 years inAnonymous reviewerDecided to review this as I’ve just recommended to a friend and saw a few negative reviews.
Positives - all natural- no chemical ‘smell’. Very comfortable if you like a firm mattress (it is definitely firm). Doesn’t make me overheat like memory foam.
Negatives - on the expensive side.
We are three years in and it’s still as good as when we bought it and it’s also been subjected to the odd child bouncing on it occasionally. Definitely recommend and we will buy again when the time comes.

resorted to sleeping on sofaAnonymous reviewerafter a month of sleeping on this sofa, i have resorted to literally sleeping on the sofa for an entire week whilst waiting for a new mattress to arrive because i couldn't handle the body pain anymore.
it does not provide any cushioning, any spine support at all and has actively made my body pain worse.
