Excellent Anonymous reviewerThe bilberry jam is excellent, yes, it does have a little more sugar than bilberry jams I have made myself or have bought in Norway. But the taste is excellent, it reminds me of picking bilberries in the forest as a child, of having pancakes as a child. I was reluctant to buy it because of the sugar content, but bilberries are also naturally very sweet, which is probably why some people find the sugar content too high in the reviews. Now I just look forward to having Norwegian waffles, and cover them in lashings of cream and bilberry jam
Too much sugarAnonymous reviewerThe jam is extremely high in sugar. At 62g of sugar per 100g, it feels far too sweet, and unfortunately, it makes it very difficult to taste the blueberry.
I would really like to see IKEA reduce the amount of sugar and increase the amount of blueberries instead. The blueberry flavour is almost completely overwhelmed by the sweetness. It would be much better if the natural blueberry taste could come through more.
Overall, far too sugary and not enough blueberry flavour.
