Way overpriced and quality issuesAnonymous reviewerWhen my cafe opened 8 years ago, these were 75p and now £4 each. Would be ok if there were decent quality. There were issues around 5 years ago where they chipped in the dishwasher. Must have spent thousands on replacement on the range of plates but enough...the prices now has made it too expensive to replace. 1

Purchased recently to replace broken plates and the quality has changed. They have switched suppliers from Romania and Turkey before, and you can tell the difference in quality. The weight of the plate and quality of material, you can’t really compare to the Romania version which is lighter and thinner and less durable.
Our new versions have broken already. At £4 a pop, these are no longer worth buying and lack the quality where they made these plates from Turkey before.
Bring back the Turkish supplier!1

They then disappeared from IKEA for a long time...but now they are back! So pleased to be able to buy them separately (not just as part of a set) to replace the ones that have got broken or chipped over the years. I wish IKEA would bring back the 'Data' cutlery, too, so we could stock up on the teaspoons....5
