Please make it out of aluminium!Anonymous reviewerIf you made it out of alu (it would need to be around 2.5 times the thickness), then it could double-up as a defrosting tray AND those who want a draining hole could drill one into it without having to contend with the rust that would befall this galvanised STEEL version!4

A draining spout, a hole, or other provision so that the water could be more easily removed, would have made this lovely and otherwise great tray infinitely better, so it's a real shame that the original design didn't include one. Great price, and I love the look in my traditional kitchen, but this functional tweak would really have elevated it. 4

It wont drain your budget.Anonymous reviewerI was eager to get this, I bought it to go with the cutlery/ utensil drainer. I did`nt measure and was lucky that it fitted. Its very robust I love the colour, it has a slight mat effect. I would of given it 5 *s but I had to do a slight modification ( my choice) by sticking tiny door damper rubbers on each corner. As some one else commented it collects the excess water in the channels rather than drains it, I don`t find it bothersome to wipe it after use. I did know this before hand and still wanted it. I am definitely not disappointed with it especially at the price. The silicon ones are far more expensive. If in the future the designer tweaked it a little I would buy one no hesitation.4
Almost perfectAnonymous reviewerThis has been a brilliant addition to our kitchen as we're limited with height due to cupboards overlapping over our sink. Using this with the IKEA dish rack (the X shaped one) we're able to make the most of the space available to us when washing up.
However one gripe I have is the water collects in the tray. Means we always have to lift the tray up to drain it, whereas it really should just have a groove at the end for the water to drain out of. Hopefully IKEA will redesign it soon with that in mind. At this price we would happily purchase another if it had that improvement.4
