We love that it's fitted into the Kallax, so we don't need to buy extra furniture which just takes up more space. It's a protected nook where she feels safe, can sit, observe, and judge us to her heart's content from an elevated position.

Let’s play hide n seek Anonymous reviewerGreat product and a great idea for a kallax insert. My kallax is near the window. I bought one of these to start with even though I have two cats. You buy two and they use the same one, normally. I got another and they both love them. My boy cat loves to sleep in it over night.
I didn’t get the small cushion insert I bought a throw instead and cut it in two and put that in. They prefer that type of item to lie and sleep on.
One other point to note is that the instructions tell you to put it in with the zip/cardboard bit to the top which is quite restrictive. I put it in upside doe with the open end to the top as this gives them slightly more room to stand and stretch which cats like to do.
