Perfect for containing things.Anonymous reviewerWith its dedicated lid, this box is ideal for holding items such as paint brushes, spanners, or screwdrivers, so that they aren’t all jumbled up in one place and are easily locatable. I’ve put small printed labels on the end of the boxes (‘Screwdrivers’, ‘Spanners’, and so forth), to help with identification, which is wonderful.
It would be great if they came in a selection of colours.
Well designed Uppsnofsad stackable storageAnonymous reviewerOther than being made of fairly flimsy plastic (this is never going to win any rigidity awards), the storage container is perfect for stacking in the Billy slimline units with minimal loss of usable space. I'd prefer the design to come in some other colour than black since IKEA tend to make most of their furniture in 4/5 different finishes (Black/White/Dark Wood/Light Wood/Pine/etc), so a white version would perhaps be the next step.
The storage boxes themselves are suitable for light rigid materials, but because the plastic is so thin it tends to deform relatively easily. The ridged bottom also makes it difficult to store small items without the risk of them toppling over (without additional supports).
Overall, it does the job it was designed to do and does it reasonably well.

GreatAnonymous reviewerSmaller than I initially thought, but look great on the shelf. Big enough to fit A4 paper in, not quite deep enough for a large Yankee candle stood up (fits the medium ones). The lids don’t clip on, they sit inside on a lip, if the went on and not in, it would be deeper by 1cm. Sturdy and can hold a good amount of weight. Stack well on top of each other.
