Well designed Uppsnofsad stackable storageAnonymous reviewerOther than being made of fairly flimsy plastic (this is never going to win any rigidity awards), the storage container is perfect for stacking in the Billy slimline units with minimal loss of usable space. I'd prefer the design to come in some other colour than black since IKEA tend to make most of their furniture in 4/5 different finishes (Black/White/Dark Wood/Light Wood/Pine/etc), so a white version would perhaps be the next step.
The storage boxes themselves are suitable for light rigid materials, but because the plastic is so thin it tends to deform relatively easily. The ridged bottom also makes it difficult to store small items without the risk of them toppling over (without additional supports).
Overall, it does the job it was designed to do and does it reasonably well.

Great storage box for the price, I bought 6 for the shelves I also bought. They are a good size not too big and stack well, I needed plastic as they are for my cellar. The shelves are great too, fab price Hyllis
