The light source is pre-mounted but can be replaced when needed. Available as a spare part. For more information, contact IKEA customer services at your IKEA store or IKEA.com.

The lamp emits 110 lumen, which is approximately equal to the light emitted by a 15-watt incandescent bulb.

The light source has a lifetime of approx. 25,000 hours. This corresponds to about 20 years if the lamp is on for 3 hours per day.

Always secure the cord to the wall with the included cord fasteners.

The included LED light source is replaceable.

Its pretty much a piece of purple plastic when you buy it but in my daughters room it glows beautifully at night. We can see enough ti read by and then leave it on as a nightlight too. The sticky pads that came with it don't fix the switch to the wall and its keeps falling off. Otherwise a lovely product.3
