Broke after 5 weeksAnonymous reviewerI bought two of these items for my children. They are very well insulated mugs that keep the water with ice cubes for almost entire school day during hot weather. However, the push down button of one of the mugs broke only after 5 weeks and it does not hold itself down. So you cannot drink from the mug unless you remove the lid or keep pressing down the button with a finger. This is disappointing as I expected the product to last longer. IKEA does not seem to sell replacement lids separately which is a shame as the flask bottle part is still fine.

I'm guessing that you haven't tried this as there is no way to clean the bits you can't reach.

Can't clean the lidAnonymous reviewerThe flasks I bought have been good, I use them almost every day for both hot and cold drinks within our family.
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any way to open up the lid to clean it, and running hot water through the lid isn't enough to clean it properly.
I now can't use these flasks, as they are unhygienic.

Vacuum travel bottle Anonymous reviewerThe bottle itself is absolutely fantastic. Really does keep your drink piping hot all day. Unfortunately it does come with an extremely fragile lid - my first bottle had to be replaced because the lid broke within a few weeks. IKEA were very good about replacing it but l really wish they would think about designing the lid to make it more robust. Another option would be selling extra lids separately so the entire bottle wouldn't have to be replaced when the lid breaks. As l said the bottle itself is brilliant.
Drink flask hot or coldAnonymous reviewerFantastic flask with stainless steel interior. The ease of use by clicking the top to drink is brilliant, l highly recommend and have since purchased a second one. It saves money to have a hot drink on the go, just pop in in my bag when out.

Great mugs, lids should be available separately Anonymous reviewerWe have had a number of these mugs, they are great and keep drinks ridiculously hot for a long time. However while the metal body of the mug will last until the earth melts, the clicky part of the lid is not that strong, and has broken when dropped or after a lot of use. I’d like to feed back to ikea that it should be possible to order the lids separately so that there is less impact to the environment. (I have 3-4 mug bodies in the cupboard !) Or maybe also have the option to order a plain lid for it. Thanks!

When I commute to work or am out in the nature, I want simple, functional products for food and beverages. The idea with UNDERSÖKA vacuum flask is to be able to drink directly from it and open and close it with one hand. The FÖRSKAFFA lunchbox is perhaps more planned and takes longer to prepare, yet it functions are still simple and reliable. I hope the products promote a mobile and flexible life – and make good companions when you’re on the go.
